Mental Health Awareness
move mindfully Partnership
At HAMO we believe in providing accessible tools and we are grateful for our collaboration with movemindfully, a company based out of St. Paul. Together, we work with schools and hospitals providing trauma responsive mind body practices. Our partnership provides workshops to the local community and works with pediatricians to hand out cards with practices for children. They recently created an app, which can be found in the app store or on their website, so accessibility is immediate.
The HAMO Foundation was instrumental in getting Gilbert Public Schools support to integrate move mindfully BREATHE-MOVE-REST practices into the school day. HAMO funding provided training for educators and students on how to teach simple mind-body practices for suicide prevention, self-regulation and over all well-being.
We have designated people to speak sharing our story and spreading awareness around mental health. The HAMO Foundation discusses Henry’s story, our Here to Hear You program, reducing stigma around mental health and immediate mind-body practices. Our speakers are available at no charge. If you are interested in having someone come to your organization, please contact us below!
